Nigeria has reported its first case of coronavirus- COVID-19 as announced by the Hon Health Minister.
It goes to show that systems put in place by the FMoH, the NCDC and LASG have been proven to be effective
Let’s not panic but take the necessary preventive measures
- Hand washing
- Telephone a health facility if you feel unwell. Please do not go to the hospital (self isolation). Where possible, steps will be taken to visit you at home and the appropriate action taken.
The government should restrict travels from and to China and other nations with high prevalence
