Coronavirus (Covid-19) - a reminder to make hand washing a routine practice



The exact means of spread of coronavirus is still being ascertained. However, it is known that contaminated hands play a critical part in the spread of this virus.

Studies have shown that hand washing is more beneficial than wearing a mask.

Individuals should ensure that the palms and back of the hands, the fingers and the space between each finger be washed thoroughly.


Hand washing should be a natural activity undertaken at the appropriate times. We should not wait for the outbreak of infections to remind us of this simple practice. It should come naturally.
